I went a few times with daddy and my uncle when I was small.. Then my cousin that lived right down the road started coon hunting.. He would come by and try to get me and and daddy to go with him but daddy never would so I didn't.. I was around 13 or so and one night I gave in and went.. I hunted with him for 2 years and may have killed 2 coons! lol but I loved it.. Got my first dog around 14 or 15 and have been after them coons ever since.. I've made alot of friends chasing behind these hounds and hope to make many more! My son is 5 and has been on 1 hunt but thinks he's a COON HUNTER! I can't wait until he gets his own dog and keeps this dying tradition going..
